The dielectric rod is used together with the Felo E-SMART handle (art. 06320500) in various electrical installations, electrical cabinets, meters and is used with the SQ 3 square-type fastener.  

The E-SMART tool has a safety level in accordance with DIN EN 60900, which requires that each VDE tool is individually tested at 10,000 volts to ensure safe operation under voltages of up to 1,000 volts. Thanks to the removable rotating cap, the screwdriver can be used as a precision tool or with particularly sensitive devices.
